Tom Crayns is worried about the energy crisis. I am too. I'm tired all the time. I need more energy.

I think I got in my first fight! I was taking measurements from the window at school, seeing how far out I need to place my landing pad from the Science building. I was marking landing sites on the ground by dropping paint, and one of my bags of tempra hit a guy! I thought it was pretty funny, but he wasn't smiling.

I went downstairs to apologize to him, but then I saw it was a kid from the art room who makes these manneristic watercolors and who thinks he's the next Carravagio in Windsor Newton. So I told him that his mediocre figurative work was a waste of time, and to get with the times and stop worrying so much about hand skills. He kicked me in the shins. And the face. I learned today that I'm really fast when I need to be. I can aim a bag of tempra pretty well, too. Does it mean you won or lost a fight if you can't stand up, but the other guy can and he's crying? The Dean called my Mom. I'm not allowed to have any more tempra.

Have you tried Ritalin? Sometimes these bully types will buy it from you, thinking they can get high with it. If you're their supplier they'll usually leave you alone. Tempra might work, too, if you can convince them to snort it, but probably only until the toxic effects wear off.

Glad to see you're still working on the Drop-Art. Maybe you can get a grant. That would pay for one of those big air bags they use in the movies. A giant whoopee cushion, if you will. Could be a surprising climax to the actual jump, if you can focus the sound properly.
